Stolen is the second in the Women of the Otherworld series by Kelley Armstrong. I reviewed the first a few months ago. The first, Bitten, was an okay book, one that I thought capitalized on timing rather than sheer excitement (Buffy the Vampire Slayer had catapulted Urban Fantasy into the spotlight). I dubbed it a ‘house wifes wet dream’.
I hadn’t planned on reading Stolen…but it was sitting on the table (Kari loves the series) and I was too lazy to go get something from the bookshelf, so I started it. Before I knew it, I was hooked.
This was opens up a world of demons, devils, vampires, shamans…much more interesting.
