One of the toughest things about sending out stories (aside from the heart-wrenching rejections) is keeping track of where everything has gone.  Rejected?  Accepted?  Dates?  Usually stored in some outdated Excel file.  Luckily, Duotrope, one of the top writing-market guides, also has a free Submission Tracker.  Now, most people know about Duotrope — but they haven’t taken advantage of the tracker.

Now you know exactly who has had your story for 234 days (as well as listing their Average Response Times). You can do searches based on responses (form, personal), results, years, etc.

It is free, but I donated $20 to the site simply because it’s a great little service.
