So I’m looking through my old manuscripts, and I revisted Maw of the Defilers, my second book (the first being Hunger of the Wolves which shall be locked away forever).

Maw of the Defilers is a good book. A fine book that blends horror and fantasy. It just needs a lot of work. A lot of work. Which is where a book doctor comes in. I’m thinking of paying someone anywhere from $1000-$2000 to do the editing for me.

Then I can send it out and hopefully get it published somewhere. Once again, I had a few agents interested in it (they gave me extensive reports) but failed to pick it up.

Hopefully, I can find a home for this book. Because then the third book (a sequel) can follow in its steps. Looking back — dumb idea to write a sequel to a book that hasn’t even been printed.
